About Humorous Intent

The fellow to the left in the image above looks a bit like he just realized that the other fellow, the fellow to the right -- let us call him the party of the second part -- is about to tell a joke. This clearly saddens and alarms the first guy.

And he may have something there, particularly if no warning was given.

 It's simple human kindness to not surprise people in this manner, nor give them cause to feel that something is being sprung on them.

So let the current writer be clear about his intentions: the material on this website is meant to be funny and didn't arrive at that state by way of accident, absent-mindedness, or some sort of late middle-aged fit. Thus Humorous Intent.
